PMO Lead
Runs the portfolio office: assures every business case before it is approved, keeps the gate calendar, and reports project health to the portfolio.
Why it matters
A business case that has been checked before it reaches the SRO and Executive Sponsor is faster to approve and less likely to fail later. The PMO sees every project, so it spots gaps, double counting and clashes with the portfolio plan.
