Portfolio Review
Where spending is approved. Funding requests are decided against each epic’s feasibility assessment; epics under way are reviewed for value (spend, delivery and benefits) and the portfolio decides to persevere, release more funding, or stop early when enough value is delivered.
Why it matters
Regular, evidence-based funding decisions replace annual one-off bids that go stale, and stopping early frees money for the next best thing.
