You will be able to

  • Read the Pipeline tab: what is where
  • See the code and deployments behind a work item
  • Plan a release and use its notes
  • Know the four checks of the gate to live

Step by step

  1. What is where Unit › Pipeline
The version in each environment: test, staging and live.
  2. Code on the work item Work item › Code and deployments
Pull requests, builds, commits and every environment it reached.
  3. Plan a release Pipeline › Releases
Add work by key; notes are written from it; it goes live by itself when a deployment to live carries all of it.
  4. The gate to live Pipeline › The gate to live
An approved change (or pre-approved standard changes), no change freeze, no blocking security findings, and a passing build.
