You will be able to
- Build and compare what-if scenarios
- Submit and approve a scenario as the plan
- Read a Monte Carlo forecast
Step by step
- Create a scenario Governance › Scenarios
Name, budget and capacity in points; start from everything or a copy. - Shape it Scenario
Include or leave out each epic and move its dates by weeks; cost and points add up as you go. - Compare Scenarios
Two scenarios side by side. - Approve Scenario › Decide
Submitting locks it. A Portfolio Lead, Executive Sponsor, SRO or PMO Lead approves or sends it back; approving records a decision, moves the dates and replaces the earlier plan. - Forecast Epic › When will it finish?
2,000 simulations against the last ten sprints: 50%, 85% and 95% dates, and the chance of the due date.
